Our team is back this week with the 19th video in our series. In this episode, recognizing that the field of infant and early childhood mental health was built to address inequities for our youngest parents, families and children – we are continuing to delve into the data that grounds this work, and looking at another section of the a report recently published by the Children’s Defense Fund on The State of America’s Children 2020 – Child Welfare. This is an issue that highlights the divide by race, ethnicity and poverty. The data here is startling and sad, and leads again, to significant disparities in health, income and outcomes for children and families across our country.
